Choc, avo and banana smoothie

Meet your new fave: our Chocolate, Avocado & Banana Smoothie! 🍫🥑🍌 This sneaky blend uses delicious ingredients (some of which you might not normally use in your smoothies), so you can enjoy all the flavour and gut health benefits without the bloat. It’s low fodmap, satisfying, and packed with deliciousness - perfect for a sensitive tummy treat!

 

INGREDIENTS

50g Superflora Plant-based Chocolate

1 medium-sized banana (firm, peeled). Choose a firm/just ripe banana, with no brown spots to minimise fructan content

1 teaspoon almond butter (or peanut butter)

1 teaspoon maple syrup

60g avocado (about 3 tablespoons is the recommended low fodmap serving size)

200ml almond milk (or your preferred non-dairy low fodmap option)

1 tablespoon dark cocoa

 

METHOD :

  1. Add ingredients to blender

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Taste & adjust. Give it a taste and add a splash more milk (or cold water) if it’s too thick.

  4. Serve & enjoy. Pour into a glass, sprinkle with cacao nibs, shredded coconut or a chopped almond for a crunchy twist, and enjoy immediately!
